i have a question...

when adding v1.6.2 tars to a v1.4 system, i get a "no space left on device"
but there is certainly lots of room left on the partition.

anyone know (remember) if there is a size limit in the v1.4 kernel for disk?

i used to do lots w/ NetBSD (from like '92/'93 til '99) then slacked off _alot_
i am trying to get back to it again.
it's been _way_ to long.

maybe i'll have this all figured out soon anyway (still dusting off the
old NetBSD neurons in my brain)

thanks
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i get this:
+------------------------------------
| ...bla bla bla...
| ./usr/bin/nm
| ./usr/bin/objcopy
| ./usr/bin/objdump
| ./usr/bin/ranlib
|
| /usr: write failed, file system is full
| tar: couldn't write to file ./usr/bin/ranlib : No space left on device
| ./usr/bin/readelf
| ./usr/bin/size
| ./usr/bin/strings
| ...bla bla bla...
+------------------------------------

it'll install some and not others from there on out.

/usr seems to have the space. (also has inodes as well)
