In spite of or because of being new to NetBSD, I think I understand the 
difference, but it is a little wicked that:

/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.6 = NetBSD 1.6 release &
/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-release-1-6 = netbsd-1-6 branch

I was thinking Daniel was after the NetBSD 1.6 release.
