this solved it really perfectly.

it is the repeatable kernel panic that worries me now.. i just wanted
gnustep on NetBSD.

I will try out linux68k in the future again. It is said that q950 is finally
decently supported. In the case I will post impressions here too, sicne
netbsd on my q950 would be cool! I have two quadras but only one
monitor&keyboard. Switching is not handy.
