Hi

I'm attempting to install netbsd 1.6.0 on my Q650.
The current setup is 40MB RAM and a NEW 18Gig westerm digital drive.
I've created a 100MB Root partition, a 2Gig usr partition a second 4Gig usr
partition (unused). There are then 2 further 4Gig free partitions and a
bunch of Mac partitions and finally a swap partition.
This was all done in one go.
I've downloaded the sets and attempted a conventional install (not sysint)
as I have previously done with 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 (on a 1Gig quantum
fireball).
I got the old scsi error 5 in the installer but no prob as tar made it in
so cpin the sets and boot into single user. Tar eventually fails with an
esp panic, other tools (fsck, reboot) produce screenfuls of an error
message along the lines of
invalid scsi state 6
resetting scsi bus
scsi bus reset

In fsck these are interspersed with other error messages.
the tools eventually exit abnormally.
A reboot can only be accomplished by dropping into the debugger (using the
switch)

Have I missed this prob??
Is it fixed in current or is it new??

Cheers
Richard

PS the drive is great under MacOS 7.5.5 and shows how IO bound even a
quadra can be, the speed improvement is dramatic.
