Hi,
I have just subscribed to this list and I am trying to get NetBSD 1.5.2
running on my SE/30 (65 mb ram, 1.2 gig hd, Farallon EtherMac card). I have
followed the instructions at http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/mac68k/theobald/ and
http://www.macunix.net:8000/installguide/installguide.html and I believe have
successfully set up and formatted the partitions for root&usr and swap. I ran
the installer app overnight and installed base, comp, kern, etc, misc, man,
text, and games packages. Then selected Build Devices. I rebooted into a
minimal System 7.1 with only the MODE32 extension. After launching the
booter app, I set it to single-user mode and chose Boot now...
Here is where the trouble begins:
It prints:
Booting...transparent = 1
MID_M68K executable: entry 0x2e00
1806668+100204+227448+208980+209617
Attempting to kill all running programs...
	Bye-bye...
So I sez to him... The real way
that it should be done is to...

Here the computer freezes with MacOS still onscreen showing the above text in
the booter window. I have tried Booter 1.11.4a3 and 1.11.3. I searched the
archives to this list for a while and could not find any references to this
problem. If anyone could offer suggestions I would much appreciate it!

Thanks,
Jim
