I have used the format(using MKS) and install(using NetBSD 68k
installer) methods provided aon the netbsd/.../macos68k web site. I then
configure NetBSD Booter as a standard "single user" for the first boot.

I hit "Boot Now" and the screen dump reads as follows;

"...Copyright Acknowledgements..."

...and tha.. tha.. thats all folks.
Mouse and Keyboard dead, monitor motionless, all to quiet.

Seriosly, this is getting quite frustrating.

This is all old "out of the box" equipment. Real single owner stuff. And
a real plain-jane installation.

My partition scheme looks like this;

sd0 at scsi ID 0
Partition read, SCSI ID = 0
Mounting partition `A' as /
sd0a: Root `NetBSD Root' at 704 size 393216
sd0g: Usr `NetBSD Usr' at 1242816 size 2983900

I know a little about the Un*x environment. This email is being sent out
from my (SuSE) Linux homebox and I have been an avid follower of Macs
Darwin/OSX project, running 10.1.1/9.2.1 on my SOHO, but they're
no-brnr's to get running but not as "open". So I Know just enough to
kwow I don't know spit.

This has been a good machine over the years but it's just about fallen
off the bottom of "tech spec" charts.

So I would really like to put it into service as a network ?smart?
device.

But the install seems to stall/freeze/crash at the first character on
the line following "root filr system type:ffs"

Any help in keeping/getting this puppy rollin' would be much
appreciated.
