I don't believe the IDE support has been pulled into the source yet.  
There are test kernels around that include IDE support though.

No.  Unless someone is willing to make these changes I don't think it 
will happen.  Those of us who have supported these utilites in the past 
are hopeful that we will be moving to the Installation Kernel w/sysinst.  
The code is there and the patches to the kernel that were required to 
make this work have been pulled into the sources, so all we need now is 
to have the IDE support pulled in and then do a build of the release.
