Hi Steve,
I just did some extremely rough calculations on some songs in my
iTunes directory...I went to my CDs and chose a CD that had song
length on it. I found the time in seconds (whole minutes * 60, plus
the "extra" seconds). Then I did a "get info" on the song's iTunes
file. Well, the file size (in k) divided by the seconds should give
the required transmission rate. I did about a half-dozen songs and
all were about 20k/sec. Given that, I would hardly be worried about
333kB/sec :-).

For instance, Enter Sandman, on S&M is 7:39 long...or 459 secs. The
file is 819584 bits or 8195 bytes (erring on the liberal side).
8195/459=17.85 kB/sec. At that rate, you can be playing a different
song in every room of your house ;)

Hope this alleviates your fears,
Mike
