I am getting mysterious crashing on my iix with 8mb ram. They happen when
running the xserver, or any of the xclients, as well as make and gcc.
Generally I get:
gcc:
Signal 4
or
Signal 11
make, xterm, etc:
memory fault(core dumped)
I am running:
Netbsd 1.5---all set, generic kernel.
Quantum 258MB hd, 18mb of swap, 230mb ffs.(this should not be the
problem--this happened on another disk I had...)
Toby FB Card.
9600kbps one serial port, 57600 the other
what are the possible causes, and solutions to these problems? even when
compiling a small program, like elvis, I get constant crashes...
Thanks a bunch.
