Hello Marty!
MJ> Don't forget....The Quadra has better serial ports...
What is wrong with the IIci's serial ports? Does the Q700
use an I/O Processor like IIfx, Q900 and Q950? I'm guessing
that it doesn't have GeoPort.
One of the jobs I might consider a IIci for is a remote
access server. www.lowendmac.com say that the IIci's serial
port is "...normally restricted to 57.6 kbps..." (with local
-talk disabled). If I use a V34 modem with data compression
turned off, that should probably be adequate.
