I installed netatalk from the packages provided for NetBSD 1.5, edited all
the config files like I have on other installs and ran the rc.atalk file to
start appletalk. I RTFM and STFA and haven't been able to find an answer
yet.

This is what I get when I start appletalk.

starting appletalk daemons: atalkdnbp_rgstr: Operation timed out
Can't register bsd1:Workstation@*
nbp_rgstr: Operation timed out
Can't register bsd1:netatalk@*
 nbprgstr papd afpd.


I am running the Generic kernel right now. I haven't gotten around to
compiling a new one yet. Do I have to re-compile with appletalk support, or
is that already part of the Generic kernel?
