Has anyone else noticed this? When running X, I often get characters I
type repeated - especially if some background process (usually disk access)
makes the terminal pause for a moment. What happens is I press a key, 
nothing happens for a moment, and then the character appears twice. Is there
anything I can do about this? Also seems to happen very occasionally with
mouse-clicks.
