I guess the idea I was going after (explaining it not so well) is that his 
directory is inaccessable in the GUI and mine is fine...and I was 
wondering why....his shows up as a document while mine shows as a 
directory...I should havae been more specific also in that this is 
referring to OS X, but I figured I would ask here because it seems to be 
more of a unix-like problem than a Mac-Like problem where the information 
on that particular directory is not working correctly....then again maybe 
I am just a moron (wouldn;t be surprising if you look back at a few of my 
old posts here <grin>)
