from NetBSD/Mac68kFAQ 6.22: "Is there any way I can get inverse video on the
console (i.e. white on black)?"

i was wondering this as well, and remembered a tiny macos program called
"Invert Video" <ftp://mirrors.aol.com/pub/info-mac/cfg/invert-video.hqx>

i am still a beginner and haven't started playing with dt yet so i thought
that i would give it a try. the program runs, does it's thing, and then
quits, so i wouldn't think it would conflict with the netbsd console video.
running it before booting into netbsd seems to work ok.

put aliases to the Invert Video and BSD/Mac68k Booter applications in the
Startup Items folder, add a space to the beginning of the Invert Video alias
filename (so that it runs first,) and set BSD/Mac68k Booter to automatically
boot. :)

anyway, thought this would be good to pass along...
