I know that MacOS won't boot w/o a monitor attached so you might try
fiddiling with dip switches until you get MacOS to recognize your
monitor.  (there's probably an article at til (http://til.info.apple.com))

I doubt it...

You most likely need to get a system installed, I'd recomend downloading
the system 7.5 network access disk (there are various pointers on the
web) THat will be a bootable system on a single HD floppy.  THen if you
still can't get the monitor to light, try paper-clipping the mode sense
and booting of the floppy.  If the system is running properly it will take
quite a while (filled with load floppy rumblings) to boot the system and
you'll know at least that the system functions properly.
