I am using roaring penguin
http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/
to connect with a French ADSL provider
it's very easy to configure (configuration tool
included): 20 s to configure , and it
works fine

you can install it from the packages collection
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-current/pkgsrc/net/rp-pppoe/README.html
