I don't think it's a good idea to be running NetBSD in colour anyway given
the problematic history it's had. By the way, the booter can automatically
set your monitor to the right colour depth for you. This allows me to
set the Monitors control panel to 256 and if I need to stay in MacOS for
some reason, I can do so in colour (and only switch to B&W when needed).
