I love this list
Another problem has arisen. I am performing the sysinit install and it =
has asked me to provide the network settings. As it stands whatever =
setting I have provided it doesn't like! It says "There was a problem in =
setting up the network either your gateway or your name server were not =
reachable by a ping". All my other machines can reach both of these by a =
ping, and all my other machines can reach the mac by a ping on the =
address that has been configured by sysinit.
When it asks for a Media Type I don't really know how to answer it, UTP? =
10BaseT? ethernet?. The ethernet card is a sonic in a centris 650. It =
has one of those little attachments which allows an RJ45 or a coax =
connection. I use the RJ45.
Also are the DNS settings absolutely necessary?
