Apple seemed to have several different cards with very similar and
confusing names. Instead of depending on the name, check the chips
on the card. The cards that are not and will not easily be supported
have a Motorola 68000 on them and require A/ROSE to work in the
MacOS. If you don't have a CPU on the card, it's probably one that
can be supported fairly easily (if it's not already supported).

If you don't have a 68k on the card, and you've tried 1.4.2 and
1.4.3 with no luck, you might try downloading a 1.5 (or 1.5BETA2
if 1.5 isn't out yet) kernel. You should be able to just download
the kernel to the MacOS and boot directly from it without installing
anything else.
