Thanks for all the helpful hints. I can't believed what finally worked. I
put MkFS onto my boot floppy, initialized the entire drive with the new
file system and rebooted. THAT got rid of those pesky files. Then
paritioned the HD and left about 20 megs for my very basic 7.1 system. Wow.

Now when I run the NetBSD CPU test it tells me:
  PM ADB interrupt address is required  and
  PMgrOp address is required

Is this something thats going to be a problem? The CPU tester couldn't
sniff out these addresses. Any thoughts? TIA, as usual.
