It looks like it would be easy enough to pull in the french keymap
from macppc.  It should just be a copy of akbd_keydesc_fr[] and the
corresponding KBD_MAP(KB_FR...) addition to akbd_keydesctab[].  I
think everything else should happen "automatically".

Who's game for trying it?
