The NetBSD Installer and Booter doesn't seem to work with any partition that
goes
past the first 1 gig of disk space. To install from MacOS your root partition
has to fit in that first 1 gig. Once you have NetBSD installed and booted you
can format and install to partitions on the second gig with BSD commands.
If memory serves, you use newfs to format, mount to mount the partition, and
tar to install. You'd also have to add the new partition to /etc/fstab so it
will be automatically mounted after a reboot.
