Most, if not all, m68k's should move to ELF simultaneously. When and if you
want to undertake this, it will need the m68k-elf support from the latest
imported binutils, as well as a compat layer (a.out binaries use a different
struct alignment than ELF binaries, requiring some minimal transforms).

This type of thing already exists in XFree86 4.0, which we are looking
towards for the near future.
