The latest know version of "Apple HD SC Setup" is 7.3.5 (but the size vay and I
do not know why).

How can you modify it to be able to format every hard disks ? (even non-Apple)

With ResEdit, open "Apple HD SC Setup",
Click twice in the resource called "wfwr" (the last in the window),
Open the resource wfwr ID 67 (size 1),
Change the value from $00 to $FF,
Save the changes.

Et voilà, you’re now able to format every hard disk you need to and even format
(really format) the SyQuest cartridges.

WARNING: The changes you makes are under your own responsibilities (not mine).
Even if I never have a problem with this change, no one ever said this change is
100% safe.
