How are you testing the network throughput? If your data source or
destination is a disk on the mac68k machine, the SCSI driver is probably
the bottleneck. With ttcp, I've gotten 850K to 1000K/sec on my Centris
660av (http://www.cactus.org/~huang/netbsd/ttcp.html). (The DMA probably
helps on the AVs though).
