What's left to install "after it is installed"? As I recall, the
package goes so far as to put it int /etc/shells (but that's purely
from memory).

If what you mean is user startup, you're welcome to my .zshenv and
.zshrc as examples (but be aware that I do weird stuff like use vi
keys on the command line). In general, zsh's man pages are stifling in
quantity (don't try to print them, trust me), but well-written.

It is definitely the best command-line shell I've used (and I've used
many, even scsh in a moment of paranthetical madness).
