I'm a complete newbie to the NetBSD, and Mac UNIX so excuse me for this
maybe stupid questions:

I have a LC III with 8 MB RAM and fresh install of the 1.4.2

Whe I do "cat /kern/physmem " I get 2048 ( KBytes ? ), when I look at
dmesg I see the following lines:

real mem = 8388608
avail mem = 4517888

Why only 4MB avaliable memory ?? and why physmem shows only 2MB ??

thanks

Wojtek Mitus
