I am assuming the LC040 is the socketed type used in desktop macs.  If so,
you may find a used 040 on Ebay.  I have had good
success with these.  Also, check out
http://www.nexcomp.com/motherboard.html.  I bought one of their 25 Mhz 040
and it works fine in
my Q605.  Most  25Mhz 040's should work fine a 33 Mhz, but you may want to
spring for a 33 Mhz rated one just to be safe.
