Ahhh! Good. Guess I should make my mind up about a "make build" in the next
few days. I ended up simply changing the "fatal(...)" into a
"fprintf(stderr, ...)" and things were downhill from there.

Another possibility would have been a -f (as in "force") flag to make
newfs_lfs ignore the partition type.
