The onboard ethernet should work fine under NetBSD.  It uses the MACE driver,
so its device name
will be mc0.

The 660AV has only one Nubus port and it requires a PDS-to-Nubus adapter to
use it.  You
can find these for sale at http://www.nexcomp.com/motherboard.html.  I think
they are about $29.00.

With the PDS-to-Nubus adapter, a second ethernet card can be used with the
660AV.  I
used an Asante card plus built-in ethernet on an 840AV and it worked fine.
The 840AV uses
the same chips as the 660AV.
