The onboard ethernet is not a Sonic, it's an AMD MACE. And it has been
supported by the mc driver since NetBSD 1.3... where did you read that
it wasn't supported?

I haven't done it myself, but you should be able to put a NuBus ethernet
card in it using the NuBus adapter, giving you two ethernet
ports. Actually, I seem to remember reading on the mailing list that
someone has done just that :)
