In addition to those listed at
http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/books.html "A Student's Guide to
Unix" by Harley Hahn (pub McGraw Hill) ISBN  0-07-025492-3 is rather
nice, particularly in the area of vi & emacs tutorials.
