There is now a complete 1.4.2_ALPHA snapshot available for mac68k at

 ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/arch/mac68k/snapshot/1.4.2_ALPHA/

This snapshot is built from sources dated Jan 10, 2000. These happen
to be the very latest "release" sources for "src" and "security".
"xsrc" from Monday, however, was only XFree-3.3.5, while "xsrc" today
is up to XFree-3.3.6.

Note: 1.4.2 is to be an upgrade to 1.4 and 1.4.1, and all binaries
from each are binary compatable with each other's, with few
exceptions. 1.4[A-Z], on the other hand, are from a different,
unreleased branch, one which will likely come to be called _1.5_.

Don't let the "ALPHA" designation scare you. 1.4.2_ALPHA is already
the most refined and polished NetBSD release _ever_, only to be
surpassed by the imminent 1.4.2 release.

This release includes, for the first time, an alternate installation
method for mac68k--a bootable "instkernel", which is largely
undocumented and untested. If you choose to try this, please heed the
precaution about having your data backed up before manipulating your
partitition tables, especially.
