My ethernet device is the built-in motherboard ethernet on the Quadra 840AV 
-> mc0. The interface works perfectly, I'm currently running an ftp server 
off it.

I placed mc0 -seed into my atalkd.conf file and I don't get anymore errors 
during startup, but now I can't see the machine in the Network Browser or 
the Chooser on the Mac. I checked top, and both atalkd and afpd are humming 
along nicely, but now AppleShare volumes don't show up! Anymore suggestions?
