Hi all,

A friend has just installed 1.4 on his 660av and is having trouble
entering a terminal type. (unfortunately I haven't seen this with my own
eyeballs, so I'll have to ask him for more details if necessary)

Apparently the install went off without a hitch.  He was able to do
'export TERM=vt220' in single-user mode in order to edit /etc/rc.conf
using vi.  But after rebooting, it seems the system won't accept anything
he enters for a terminal type.

I thought this sounded like a case of not having done 'build devices', but
he says he did that.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
