If someone has some time, I would like some instructions/guidelines/links
to assist me in compiling a kernel for a Quadra 700, netbsd 1.4.

Having become a bit compulsive about the SETI project
(http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu) and discovering that they had a
version of the software for Mac 68k netbsd. I have dusted off the 8 Quadra
700's that have been sitting on a shelf for the past year, downloaded
netbsd 1.4, installed it, got it running, installed ppp, connected,
downloaded the seti client program, grabbed a datafile and started processing.

Have 5 of them running so far, but they are so slow. I have gathered from
reading various linux bits that if I have a kernel specific version, it
should be faster. I assume that this would apply to netbsd as well?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
