What do you mean by "up"? I am not a specialist of "low-level SCSI".

The message arrives in the Mini Shell (Installation program), after
formating (with Drive Set Up 1.6.2, I know, it's not perhaps the better
choice, but it runs) and after initializing file system for NetBSD with
"MKfs_1.45".
