I've been searching for an Ethernet card to work with 1.3.3 on my Performa (LC)
575. I couldn't find any cards with the 8390 in them so I took a chance on
the Apple Ethernet CS thin coax card I found at Macresq. It has the SONIC 
chipset and after looking at the supported Ethernet page, I wasn't sure if a
non-builtin card would work. The good news, it works great! The same card
does NOT work with the SONIC driver in linux. 

I'm using:

MRG-104 kernel from today
68040 (upgraded from LC)
36 megs of ram
1 gig external scsi HD

Got X running in 16 bit mode (Thanks Michael) and mozilla. Cool! Now if I
can just hack the video to 800x600....
