Dear Sirs,

Please help me with the following problems upon CONFIGURING my NetBSD.
I have Mac 68k (Quadra 800) with two hard disks in, 258 Mb Quantum and
1Gb Seagate. NetBSD is installed on Quantum (sd0) and on Seagate is Mac
OS 7.6.1.

My first question is: should I see NetBSD disk mounted under Mac OS?
Second: NetBSD is just fresh installed and I just wrote a path in
.profile and
this: "export TERM=vt220 PATH". What ELSE should I write in .profile (in
/etc)
and other /etc cofs? (in WHICH files should I write WHAT?)
Also I have downloaded all the X files and soppose they must be manually

configured prior to X will start too (actually for the moment startx
doesn't work
despite I wrote ALL the paths needed!)
Also when I just boot NetBSD and then press CMD-D to get into Multi-User
mode
(thou my computer is not in network I want to use fully X-Windows) it
does NOT
bring me to Login line.. It just AS USUAL can't process some files
(rc??) and
offers me shell (sh).
Please note that ALL the paths it needs (if says "File not found" - I
add the path)
it has! I checked it with "set". But some files (in those paths can't be
found still)
thou those files DO present..
I'm new to UNIX-like systems and therefor I agree that there may be a
stupid mistake
I am doind but please help me with configuring these conf files (maybe
more?) and
please write to me how to correctly compose those rc and .profile
(more?) files.

                                            Thank you,
