Well I only used current kernels.

I checked, but there is only one : 12.20  .
This weekend I'll try to recompile the thing "out of the box" as I get 
the sources for 1.3.1 from the german mirror. We'll see whether that will
work or if there is something really fishy going on here ;-) .
