That's correct.  I've been using a Fireball 1080S for quite a while
without any problem even though I use ncrscsi driver, not sbc.

I believe Allen Briggs' IIcx (oldpuma, formerly known as puma) has the
same drive hooked up, and he has had a similar experience as I.
