Have you checked the battery?  On some 68k macs, they'll appear to be
totally dead if the PRAM battery doesn't work.  Test it and if it's bad,
go buy a new one at your local Radio Shack.  If the power supply output is
right (neither too high nor too low, and working), then the PRAM battery
is a good thing to check.
