In an ideal world, yes.  I'm trying to do this without tripping the
net.gods (immediately).

If I could see a way to do proxy ARP I would, but how do you specify the
box is to do ARP on only one interface for an address that is physically
out the other?  No such thing as ARP on PPP so it works there, but this is
between two Ethernets.
