Could someone please tell me what expression I should use with tcpdump to
get a record of the Appletalk packets exchanged through a NetBSD router
between a Mac and a printer. The AppleTalk-aware version of snoop on my
Sun only sees the broadcast and multicast traffic (we have switched hubs).

I have a failure perhaps similar to the one reported a few days ago and
would like to provide some additional data if I can. The symptoms I see
are that everyone can see the zone I created, only my PMac can ever see the
printer, and about 2/3 of the time I can't print to it because the printer
can't be found.

A perhaps significant detail is that once a print job starts it always runs
to completion with no problems.

Oh, yes, some background: Q840/MacBSD 1.3.0 with two Ethernet interfaces,
mc0 connected to same subnet as the PMac 7600/150, ae0 connected only to an
HP LaserJet 5MP with a JetDirect Ethernet interface. All network numbers
are lots bigger than 256.

Feasibility of a new signature is currently being evaluated.
