Generally when someone talks about a "Linux box" or a "FreeBSD box" they're
referring to a computer that runs the Linux or FreeBSD operating system,
without being specific about the kind of computer. I can just as easily
speak of the "SunOS box" in my house because I only have one computer
running SunOS. In this context "box" really means "computer system."
