Actually, a Nomai540M removable was my primary NetBSD drive for a few
months. All my cartridges have a lot of bad blocks, and some are useless
already.  (They are supposed to have a 5 year warranty. I haven't tried to
cash in yet.) The ones that take a format under MacOS, though, take a
NetBSD filesystem, and work just fine. I was able to compile X on one,
last month.
