"netstat -nr" resulted i the following:

%netstat -nr
internet:
destination    gateway             flags     ref  use  MTU  interface
127.0.0.1      127.0.0.1           UH        0    0    -    lo0

What does it mean?

Roger,

Try this.  Run "netstat -nr" and see if you have a default route
defined.  If so, delete this route via "route delete default ...".
I had the same problem with a IIci and noticed that all networking
failed when the default router is inaccessible--even when the
destination is in the same subnet.
