Hi,

If you are in a hurry, why not just grab the binaries from the Amiga
archive. I have been happily using the Amiga binary.

ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-Amiga/contrib/X11/xv-3.10a+PCD-bin10.tar.gz

You can also find xli in the same general area.
