I assume that a standard Classic II doesn't have one?  (I don't have my
database on me right now ;-)  Either way, this shouldn't make a
difference.  If a machine has a real FPU, it will use it rather than the
FPU emulation code.  It should be noticeably faster on some things with
one, tho.

Since I appear to have missed the rest of this thread, could you please
describe exactly where you're Classic II hangs during the boot process
using the ADBTEST.160 kernel?
