That didn't work.  I sym linked
/usr/local/ghostscript-4.03/share/{fonts,data} to
/usr/local/lib/ghostscript/{fonts,data} and then setenv GS_FONTPATH and
GS_LIB to the symlinks.

Then, under X, I tried to view one of the examples that comes with gs,
and it just gave me a blank window again.

I'm completely stumped.  I guess the printing problem is related to
this as well.

Does anyone have any other ideas?  Thanks for the assistance.
